1. Introduction

This Seller Policy governs all third-party sellers (“Sellers”) offering products on maryams.ae. By registering and listing products on the platform, you agree to comply with this policy, UAE laws, and all applicable marketplace regulations.

Maryam International LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for violations of this policy.

2. Seller Eligibility

To sell on maryams.ae, you must:

• Provide accurate business and contact information

• Hold a valid UAE trade license (if operating within UAE)

• Comply with UAE Consumer Protection Law and VAT regulations (if applicable)

• Submit verification documents if requested

Failure to provide valid documentation may result in account suspension.

3. Product Listing Requirements

Sellers must ensure:

• Accurate product titles and descriptions

• Genuine product images

• Correct pricing and available stock

• Disclosure of warranty (if applicable)

• Products comply with UAE safety standards

Misleading or false listings are strictly prohibited.

4. Prohibited & Restricted Products (UAE Compliance)

Sellers must NOT list or sell:

Illegal & Controlled Items

• Drugs, narcotics, or related items

• Firearms, weapons, ammunition

• Explosives or military equipment

Regulated Items

• Alcohol without proper UAE license

• Tobacco or vape products without regulatory approval

• Prescription medicines

• Unregistered supplements or medical devices

Counterfeit & Infringing Goods

• Fake branded products

• Replica luxury items

• Copyright-infringing materials

Other Restricted Items

• Pornographic content

• Offensive or hate materials

• Hazardous chemicals

• Stolen goods

• Recalled or unsafe products

Maryam International LLC reserves the right to remove any prohibited listing immediately.

5. Pricing & Fees

• maryams.ae charges a 2% commission on the final selling price of each successfully completed order.

• Commission is calculated on the product price only (excluding shipping fees and VAT, if applicable).

• Sellers are responsible for VAT compliance and issuing invoices where required.

• Sellers must not artificially inflate prices or manipulate pricing to avoid commission.

The platform reserves the right to adjust commission rates with prior notice.

6. Shipping & Fulfillment

• Sellers are responsible for fulfilling and shipping orders promptly.

• Shipping costs may be charged separately and will depend on the selected shipping company or courier service.

• Sellers must provide accurate tracking information.

• Products must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

maryams.ae is not responsible for courier delays once the shipment has been handed over to the shipping provider.

7. Returns & Refunds

Sellers must comply with:

• UAE Consumer Protection regulations

• maryams.ae Refund Policy

Sellers are responsible for:

• Accepting eligible returns

• Processing approved refunds

• Replacing defective or incorrect products

Refund disputes may result in temporary withholding of seller funds.

8. Customer Service Standards

Sellers must:

• Respond to customer inquiries within 24–48 hours

• Maintain professional communication

• Resolve disputes fairly

Unprofessional conduct may result in penalties.

9. Performance Monitoring

Seller performance may be evaluated based on:

• Order cancellation rate

• Late shipment rate

• Return rate

• Customer complaints

• Authenticity issues

Repeated poor performance may result in warnings, penalties, or suspension.

10. Fraud & Policy Violations

Strictly prohibited:

• Fake or self-generated orders

• Review manipulation

• Selling counterfeit goods

• Bypassing platform commission

• Operating multiple accounts without approval

Violations may result in permanent account termination and possible legal action.

11. Payment & Settlement

• Seller earnings are credited after successful order completion.

• Funds may be temporarily held to cover refunds, disputes, or chargebacks.

• Minimum payout threshold (if applicable) will be displayed in the Seller Dashboard.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

maryams.ae reserves the right to:

• Remove listings without prior notice

• Suspend or permanently terminate seller accounts

• Report serious violations to relevant UAE authorities

13. Governing Law

This Seller Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to UAE jurisdiction.

14. Amendments

maryams.ae reserves the right to update this Seller Policy at any time. Sellers are responsible for reviewing updates periodically.
